i'll paste it here, to address some of your remarks.
Hello,
Sorry about what is coming but I have some bad notes :
* if the Link you cosplay is right handed (has in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword), your shoulder belt has to stand on your other right shoulder.
* if right handed, then your Dark Link is too, has seen on Ocarina of Time : why does his reflexion shows him left handed...
* there is no "evil" in the Dark Link expression, he just seem like a lazy hippy.
You made a picture that seems nice and well made on the first quick sight. But a deepest look shows the leaks.
Mind the details on the next time.

the cosplayer is listed in the description. the photo of him i used had both arms down by his side; based on the stance i decided to create the sword and shield. admittedly i gave little concern to whether he was right or left handed.
obviously i used the same photo for dark link, he's got the same expression as link, and yes uses the opposite hand.
i am a hobbyist with absolutely no professional training in digital art.
thanks for the critique; i don't mind printing it here in the comments, not sure i want it under my image forever though.
